The Innocent Young Master Lu - Chapter 24
Chapter 24: Lu Ding Ning says she’s got her eye on Zong Ji Ze!
“Young Master Lu, do you have a WeChat account?”
Returning to Lu Yi Ning’s office, Ruan Xi Yuan suddenly asked Lu Ding Ning this.
“WeChat?” Before coming to Z country, Lu Ding Ning knew of WeChat, a very popular app in Z country. One can not only chat with their friends, but also share the latest updates with them.
Having grown up abroad, Lu Ding Ning was still more accustomed to using MSN. As for her brother’s cell phone, WeChat was installed, but she didn’t have the login information.
“No.” After saying this, Lu Ding Ning took out her phone, downloaded WeChat, and made an account and username, “Dylan Ning”. As for the photo, Lu Ding Ning casually snapped a selfie of half her face.
Since she needed to spend some time in Z Country, having a WeChat made it easier for people to contact her.
Soon after, Lu Ding Ning handed her cell phone to Ruan Xi Yuan.
“Put in your own account.”
Ruan Xi Yuan, who was giving Lu Ding Ning tomorrow’s schedule, froze as he thought about what she just said. He quickly entered his information into Lu Ding Ning’s WeChat.
After a few seconds, they were able to successfully add each other.
“You’re very efficient!” Ruan Xi Yuan said as he handed the phone back to Lu Ding Ning. He never expected that within a few minutes of him casually asking Lu Ding Ning if she had a WeChat that she would immediately make one and add him as a friend.
“So do you…….”
In the afternoon, Lu Ding Ning was given a tour of RM by Ruan Xi Yuan as he identified key personnel.
Afterwards, she walked to Lu Guo Hua’s office again.
Originally, Lu Ding Ning thought Lu Guo Hua would say a few words to her about her unpleasant conversation with Second Uncle and Third Uncle, earlier.
After all, she believed that anything that happened in RM did not escape Lu Guo Hua’s eyes.
But Lu Guo Hua didn’t mention anything about it.
So, did this mean that her father supported her thoughts?
If that was the case, Lu Ding Ning felt that things would be……interesting!
If Lu Guo Hua fully supported her, then she could strike first.
“Ning, Dad has a dinner engagement tonight. You’ll have to go back with Xi Yuan first. Dad will try to go home as soon as possible to accompany you!”
Although his daughter currently had a boyish appearance, Lu Guo Hua didn’t want his daughter to accompany those bad old men in chatting, drinking and farting.
Even though those friends yelled for Lu Guo Hua to bring “Lu Yi Ning” with him, Lu Guo Hua still arranged for Lu Ding Ning to return first.
“Good.” Lu Ding Ning seldom refused Lu Guo Hua’s arrangement.
“Dad, you shouldn’t drink too much. While work is important, your body is more important. If you’re too busy to go, there’s still me!” reminded Lu Ding Ning.
Although it was a simple sentence, it made Lu Guo Hua smile like a child.
A daughter is a daughter!
A sweet little cotton jacket is just not the same.
Even after years of separation, his baby quickly made it known that she still cared for his health.
This was completely different from the feeling Lu Yi Ning gives him!
“Good, whatever Ning said daddy will remember! I’ll be back early in the evening, don’t you worry!”
After laughing happily, Lu Guo Hua couldn’t help saying to his daughter.
Even though her appearance was boyish, Lu Guo Hua still had all kinds of worries concerning his daughter. Fear that she would get hurt, fear that she would meet bad people.
Sometimes, Lu Guo Hua would think about Lu Ding Ning’s marriage. What would her husband be like and would he treat her right?
What would he do if his Ning was bullied!
Lu Ding Ning, who didn’t know that her father was worrying over her, waved at him as she left the office.
After parting with Lu Guo Hua, Lu Ding Ning looked for Ruan Xi Yuan, intending to go home.
Who would have thought that Lu Yi Ning’s phone would ring as soon as she got into the car.
The screen displayed Zong Ji Ze’s name.
“Young Master Zong, what is your order?” Lu Ding Ning frowned and she spoke in a charming voice which caused people to be unable to guess what she was thinking.
Zong Ji Ze simply said, “Don’t forget to come to my house tonight for tutoring!”
“Are you serious, we start tonight?”
In all honesty, Lu Ding Ning threw the issue of receiving tutoring from Zong Ze Ji out of her head after Zong Ji Ze left to receive the call after the meal as she thought it was said in jest.
But now Zong Ji Ze was informing him in such a solemn manner, Lu Ding Ning had no choice but to take this matter seriously.
The thought of having to deal with those annoying ancient words and poems tonight made Lu Ding Ning feel completely unwell!
Zong Ji Ze let out a cold laugh: “Are you sure you can graduate without understanding poetry and writing practice?”
This caused Lu Ding Ning to imagine that the man on the other end of the phone had his eyes narrowed into a cold glare ready to freeze any creature to death.
She was able to imagine it because that was the look on Zong Ji Ze’s face as he read her test paper that dinner.
“Okay, send me the address! I’ll be there in a while!” Clearly aware of how terrible her level was, Lu Ding Ning could only acquiesce to Zong Ji Ze.
Almost immediately there was the sound of the phone disconnecting.
“Hanging up without even saying goodbye, what’s so good about that?” Muttered Lu Ding Ning as she stared at the phone that was still beeping with a busy tone.
“Was it Young Master Zong who called just now?” Ruan Xi Yuan, who was in the driver’s seat, suddenly asked.
“Hmm.” Anyway, Ruan Xi Yuan should have heard everything. Plus, Lu Ding Ning has no intention of hiding it.
“When did your relationship with Young Master Zong become good enough to privately contact each other?” Previously, Lu Yi Ning was indeed in talks discussing collaboration with Zong Ji Ze.
But, their interactions were limited to work. They rarely contacted each other for non official business matters.
In regards to Lu Ding Ning, she only recently replaced Lu Yi Ning. In these few days, he didn’t see any interactions between her and Zong Ji Ze.
But listening to the way she and Zong Ji Ze spoke to each other, it seemed that their relationship was very unusual.
“If I said I had my eye on him and we met up. Do you believe me?”
In actual fact, it started with a person beating someone up and acting as a living Lei Feng. But this matter wasn’t convenient for Lu Ding Ning to talk about. It’s better to drive a train with your mouth full and muddle through*.
Hearing Lu Ding Ning, Ruan Xi Yuan froze for a moment.
Turning around and seeing the plausible smile hanging on Lu Ding Ning’s pretty diamond-shaped lips was a bit creepy.
This Lu Ding Ning, “he” can’t really be a gay, right?
He heard that people abroad were more open to such things, hence there were more gays overseas.
And it seems that Lu Ding Ning’s looks were up to standards that gays would approve of.
If this Lu Ding Ning was really gay…….
Damn, wasn’t he going to be in danger?
