All The Male Leads Have Blackened - Chapter 31.1
YinYue has something to say:
Last chapter of this arc. Will post the second part tomorrow rain or shine. While this chapter is called “The End,” it refers to this world and not the novel journey. But also like I have mentioned, I will be going hiatus with this novel, so this novel is open to be picked up within Centinni. Contact Centinni for details.
Cen Simiao held her phone as she hesitated in making the decision.
The system that temporarily took over her current mission also began to panic. “Asking Host to please start the attack, otherwise…”
Before it managed to finish speaking, it got frightened by the face Cen Simiao had on, and immediately its mechanical voice jammed. After stabilizing the fluctuations in its data, it stiffly changed the topic. “Please keep in mind your health.”
Cen Simiao was feeling particularly jittery and wanted to find someone to curse at.
Even if An Zeru were to get her call right now, no matter what she could say, it would still be impossible for his favorability level to directly rise to the max. Her lashes drooped, then suddenly her cell phone rang causing her brows to jump.
“Where are you?” It was An Zeru’s call.
Her mood wasn’t high, and her tone sounded a bit depressed. An Zeru was very sensitive in this aspect. He was currently sitting in front of his desk, sketching with a pen, so when he heard the sound of this voice from the other side, his brow furrowed and the tip of his pen paused.
He pursed his lips. “Why do you go out for a walk, the weather’s nice today in the city.”
Cen Simiao rubbed the phone with her fingertips, then her voice suddenly became low-spirited, “If we get married, is there anything that would worry you?”
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.
Then suddenly, he chuckled and softly replied, “All the worries, as long as I think of the fact that I’ll be with you, would disappear.”
Inexplicably, Cen Simiao felt short of breath.
It was only when the call was hung that she heard the system’s wailing. Its previous reserve and restraint had all dissipated. “It’s over! Little Cute is starting to become confused, now not only will your body be affected, but even your senses will start going haywire!”
Cen Simiao frowned, stood up, and gave a deep sigh. Taking her cell phone with her, she headed out, straight for the TV station. With the system‘s power, her golden finger was particularly impressive.
Even until she got to the studio, still no one tried to stop her.
Standing in front of the camera, there was a thin layer of sweat on her forehead, she was panting, and her hair a little messy, but her eyes were still very spirited. All the staff were now under the system’s control and couldn’t move at all. They could only watch as Cen Simiao did whatever she needed.
She pulled out her phone, and with only one ring, the other side had already picked up the call.
Cen Simiao started, “You really cause people to get fed up.”
An Zeru was stunned, then his brows furrowed and he yelled at the phone, “Are you f*ck*ng sick, you just called me to scold me? Where have I annoyed you?!”
There was no movement from the other side for a long period, so much that he questioned, “Hello?”
Cen Simiao made a sound affirming, then added, “I really do miss you a little.”
An Zeru was about to speak when he heard the other side again say, “You go turn on the TV.”
Then there was again no sound coming from the other side.
He muttered to himself that the other must be sick again, then went to turn on the TV and changed it to the station she had said. And his pupils instantly constricted. Cen Simiao was standing right there, her complexion was rather pale, appearing particularly weak.
He quickly made a call over.
An Zeru saw her turn off the phone with his own eyes.
Cen Simiao had a slender neck, so now that she had slightly raised her chin, it seemed even more fragile. Her eyes were curved, and the smile on her lips was the same one as her usual.
It had not been touched up.
An Zeru saw that her previously ruddy lips were now a little pale. She softly said, “I like you a lot.”
Her expression was earnest.
He was taken aback, and couldn’t help but grip his phone tighter while pursing his lips.
Cen Simiao was especially fond of his vitality. Such that even when his attitude was so poor at the beginning, it hadn’t affected her at all. She pursed her lips, then just as some obscurity appeared in her eyes, suddenly all she saw was a pitch darkness in front of her.
