Akuyaku Reijo No Tsuiho Go! Kyokai Kaikaku Gohan De Yuyu Sister Kurashi - Chapter 4.1
Elizabeth’s memories of working in the country of Japan
Memories of Yuka Sawatani.
* * * *
It was a room in a small office building.
It was one of the myriad of so-called mixed-use buildings in Tokyo, small, old, and slightly tilted.
Nine desks, a locker and a photocopier, and nothing else could fit in there.
So my desk was always covered in papers.
Every time I put them away, the next one would be put there. Fliers, papers, and pamphlets had nowhere to go, and they were taking over.
But at the time, I didn’t think it was any of my business.
It didn’t matter where you were located to do a good job, as long as you had the enthusiasm.
Elizabeth was a twenty-four-year-old event planner named Sawatani Yuka in my memory from a previous life.
Her black hair was pulled back and she slipped her arms through a white shirt and black suit.
“I have worked hard today…”
Every day when I get into the spirit of the day, I get rocked by the train to work.
There are so many of the same people in the car that I know I’m not alone.
When I opened the door marked “Dream Fun Inc.”, I greeted them with energy.
A few of the people already in the company responded, without effort.
Some raised their hands only.
Apparently, they were here first, not that they had been working all night.
Normally, I would be concerned about my seniors who were busy with their work and would call out to them, but I didn’t have the time to do so.
I was busy too, so….
—-For now, I’ll start cleaning up my emails.
As I sat down, I stood up my computer and opened my mailer, and dozens of emails were received as if they were coming at me with a dada dada dada.
Is it just my imagination that just looking at them makes my back shake?
—-There’s no point in looking at it. You have to stand up for yourself.
You have to get up and get on with it.
Ordering materials, arranging advertisements, securing part-time jobs, applying to the local government for permission.
The black system of early entry into the company was a black system that made him help in many ways before he joined, so by the time he officially joined the company, Tomoka was able to do a whole range of things on his own.
At the very least, she had accumulated a great deal of experience.
At least, I need a little more rest.
The only hobby I enjoy and look forward to is the maiden game I always play for a bit before bed.
When I was hired, I chose to work for an event company because I thought it would be nice to be involved in an otome game event someday.
I’d like to plan one myself someday, but in order to do so, I have to get rid of the work piled high in front of me right now.
The walls … are incredibly high, and they’re piling up every day.
“Yes! I’m from Dream Fun Inc.”
Yuka, who had been concentrating on answering the email, hurriedly picked up the phone call that came in.
It was the client.
“Thank you for all your help. What, you don’t have enough space for the event? I’m sorry, too. I’ll be on my way there in a moment.”
Lately, I’m afraid of the phone ringing.
Most of the time, it’s to alert me to trouble.
Dream Fun Inc. does a wide variety of business.
We handle not only trade shows, product launches, hands-on events, and parties, but also big ones like mini live shows and sporting events.
But with only a few employees, trouble was inevitable.
Today, as usual, I received a phone call from a client to complain, and I went directly to the scene. It’s faster to go there and deal with them in person than to talk on the phone.
“I’m coming out! Back, past nine.”
I change from my puffy indoor slippers to the pumps I keep under my desk and leave the office.
I don’t get around on foot or in a horse and carriage; it’s a normal world with trains, taxis, and planes, but the site of today’s trouble is far away.
The trip alone would take several hours, and I wouldn’t be back until nightfall.
When I walked out of the building, the sun was already blindingly bright.
When I somehow turned around, I saw a small sign in my eyes for Dream Fun Inc.
~from the important presentation to the happy birthday party.
“Dream Fun Inc.”
“A happy … birthday party …”
